Join us in Killarney on July 4th as we celebrate Independence Day; honoring our American friends and visitors. This is a fantastic colouful parade through the streets of the town, a BBQ, live street music, entertainment, street performances and much much more. The festival itself aims to celebrate all that is great about the US and to remember the years of legacy between the United States and Ireland.

The Festival Schedule this year: 

Monday 3rd July: 

9.00pm – 9.45pm: Truly Diverse perform live on the lawn of Killarney House & Gardens

10.00pm: Mamma Mia is being shown on the lawn of Killarney House & Gardens

Tuesday 4th July: 

3.00pm: Raising of the American Flag outside the Town Hall

3.15pm: Killarney’s Wild West Cowboys will be doing face painting, drumming and balloon art

3.15pm: On Main Street classic hits from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elvis & Dean Martin will be played

3.45pm: On Main Street see the Statue of Liberty and enjoy the street performers along with a drum show

6.00pm: Brass Bands will be playing in preparation for the Big Parade.

6.45pm: There will be a street party as well as fireworks on Main Street along with a live DJ.

7.00pm: The Big Parade which consists of floats, motorbikes, movie characters, flags and more

8.00pm – 9.00pm: Brendan Fuller brings the tunes to Main Street
