Nestled between Mangerton Mountain and Torc Mountain, Killegy Woods is a wonderful trail surrounded entirely by trees making it perfect all year round. This 5km trail can be accessed just up the same road from the Blue Pool so you could really make a day out of it and complete both these trails.
You feel yourself stepping further and further back in time as the trees envelop you and grow denser the further you go in. Enjoy looking at all the flora and fauna you will find as you do this loop and just enjoy the pure serenity of this trail. The perfect trail to go for a run or just a leisurely stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the town and busier trails.
