Dinis Cottage

Dinis Cottage was founded back in the 1700s as a hunting lodge but has operated as a tea room for over 200 years. Found in the heart of Killarney National Park on Dinis Island, Dinis Cottage has all the characteristics of that Victorian magic that Muckross is known for and this is due to the cottage being built by the Huberts who previously built Muckross House.

There are excellent views of Muckross Lake from the cottage for you to enjoy while you enjoy some refreshments. The cottage has seating available for up to 33 people indoors with additional seating available outside depending on the weather.

The windows of the Cottage feature the names of many newlyweds who carved their names with their diamonds for good luck.

The cottage is a great stop for any visitors walking the popular Muckross and Dinis 10km circular trail through the National Park and taking in Torc Waterfall.
