St Patrick’s Day in Killarney is a fantastic celebration for families, visitors and locals alike. The celebrations culminate in the annual parade through the streets of Killarney, when sporting groups, schools, music and community groups all participate. A walk around the town at night will reveal most buildings lit up with a brilliant green light. A true sight to behold.
The Theme for this years parade is “Echoes of Killarney’s Past” and there will be many activities and events on the days around St. Patrick’s Day. These include: Music by Candlelight, the great duck dash, a seanachaí experience, animal roadshow, kids fun zone & the parade itself.
