Rally of the lakes
Ready your engines because the May Bank Holiday weekend can only mean one thing in Killarney….. THE RALLY OF THE LAKES.
This weekend is one of the highlights of the year in Killarney as thousands of avid rally goers travel down to watch this amazing event with the most picturesque of backdrops, The Lakes of Killarney & Killarney National Park.
Parking will be limited in the town this week as certain areas are closed off for Rally Car access only but there will be an opening night in Killarney Town where spectators can see all the cars participating along with drivers.

Killarney Races
The May Races in Killarney are a sight to behold as over the course of 3 days thousands of people make their way down to Killarney Racecourse to take in the breath-taking sights and the horse racing. This years May races are taking place from May 12th – 14th with various race types to be held over the 3 days.

LIVE CLASSICAL MUSIC
The Great Southern Hotel will be hosting a night of Live Classical Music on May 16th.
The group of classical musicians perform pieces from the Romantic Period, from the 1820’s to the 1900’s, including an extract from Lily of Killarney, 1862. The evening will feature works of the legendary composers Richard Strauss, Antonín Dvořák, Francisco de Asís Tárrega, Julius Benedict and more.
