Easter is just around the corner, and Killarney is hosting some amazing events for the whole family or a weekend vacation with some friends. This year’s Easter Sunday falls on April 17th, so make the most of the long weekend by heading to Killarney. Here are some of our reccomendations to help you have a fantastic Easter 2022.

Lambs

Dinis Cottage is one of Killarney’s most well-known sites, and we’re thrilled to announce the resumption of the annual Easter egg hunt following a hiatus caused by a worldwide epidemic. This fantastic Easter egg hunt is not to be missed if you plan on bringing your children to Killarney this weekend. At Dinis, you may meet the Easter egg bunny and get your face painted. However, because this is a ticket-only event, make sure to get your tickets here.

Alternatively, Kennedy’s Pet Farm is hosting an Easter egg hunt every day throughout the Easter weekend. There is a large play area with lots of lovely animals for your child to admire while looking for Easter eggs. This is another ticket-only event, so if you’re intending on attending, get your tickets now.

A visit to Muckross House and Gardens is a must-do on every vacation to Killarney. If you’re out at Dinis, you won’t be far from Muckross House, so after the hunt, have a pleasant trek over from Dinis to Muckross House. Killarney Town will be bustling with life over Easter weekend so make sure to enjoy the positive energy that will be in the air throughout the town. Stop into a few shops, grab a coffee at one of the many outstanding cafes, have a pint, meet your friends, go out for lunch or dinner, there is going to be no shortage of fun to be had in Killarney this weekend. Here are a few of our favourite things to do.

Take it to the limit – a celebration of the eagles is taking place at the INEC Arena on Easter Sunday the 17th of April. This is a show that promises to deliver a night of fantastic tunes and even better craic. The band is composed of top Irish musicians, Johnny Brady, Simon Casey, Nigel Connell and The Sheerin Family Band. Tickets are going fast so get yours  here.  This is the perfect way to end what guarantees to be a magical weekend.
